Terrace Houses, sometimes called the "houses of the rich" are found on the hillside of Bulbul Mountain across from the Hadrian Temple.
There are six residential units in this excavation that are accessed by a separate entry ticket.
These excavations have been well sponsored and have very accessable walkways and stairs (many).
When I last visited this site in 1978, this area was still being worked on and I did not see them.
Needless to say, I was looking forward to seeing them this trip, and I was not disappointed...
